Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
After our Ofsted visit in June 2025, we have been on a rapid school improvement journey. I began my Headship in September 2025 and I have high aspirations for all the children and staff at Meadowside. We have made rapid progress in academic achievement (see school performance) but there is still work to do as we build a curriculum that challenges the children across all subjects. Governors are a key part of leadership at Meadowside and they ensure a high level of challenge and accountability for all. Children and staff want the best for all children that attend Meadowside and this is clear from the moment you step into the building. When you visit you will see our aspirations in action in a calm and positive environment.
My first year as Headteacher was a privilege and I continue to look forward to the challenges that lay ahead and this is an exciting time to be part of our school. The Meadowside Family is unique, and it is an honour to lead us into the next exciting chapter as we continue to make a difference for our future.

Good morning, Parents and Carers, Our annual Harvest collection for Gloucester Foodbank will take place on Wednesday 7th October. This year, we are the TINNED TOMATOES CHAMPION! The Foodbank will accept all brands/flavours/sizes but please ensure items are in date and unopened. You can also check gloucester.foodbank.org.uk/ to see what items they are currently in desperate need of.
