Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Meadowside is a very special primary school with a unique ‘family’ atmosphere where our school values are:
Aspirational, Environmental, Independence, Opportunistic, Understanding.
The school begins a new chapter in September 2025 as I have been appointed the new Headteacher!
Meadowside is a special, environmentally friendly school where everyone is valued, and children are at the heart of everything we do.
We continue to build a caring, safe environment where children achieve strong social and academic outcomes. We foster a love of learning and are aspirational for all. This is a school where children learn to become independent, curious learners and seize opportunities presented to them. Children show an understanding of difference and celebrate diversity. Governors and staff work together to challenge and celebrate as we create a school that we are proud of.
I am looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead and this is an exciting time to be part of our school. The Meadowside Family is unique, and I am privileged to lead us into the next exciting chapter as we continue to make a difference for our future.

💙💚 Year 4 Residential Update 💚💙
Everyone is ready for bed after their self care routine! Haircare, footcare and skincare have all featured and they are preparing to drift off to sleep. 😴
Children have made their rooms cosy and homely and many are reading their books and quietly telling stories to one another. Beautiful friendships are on show too.

What a wonderful wholesome afternoon. Meet our new friends King Bob III 🐓and Picquet 🐴 who enjoyed cuddles and being fed by us.
On the subject of food, everyone has just polished off their delicious dinner and they have full stomachs, before this evenings activity. 😋
I’m sure you can imagine their faces when they saw the pudding 😍

We are currently enthused and absorbed in our afternoon’s activities: Wilderness exploration, the infamous egg drop challenge and team games using guttering! Problem solving at its finest. 🤩
We have also made some new animal friends! More on those later 🐓
The children and staff have not stopped smiling and the sun keeps peeping through the clouds too. ⛅️
